Select a Delivery Date That Works for You

You can choose your preferred delivery date during checkout, making it easier to plan your project around your tile delivery.

We currently deliver approximately 98% of orders on the selected date. Occasionally, circumstances outside of our control can cause delays.

For this reason, we highly recommend waiting until your tiles have safely arrived before arranging for your tiler to begin work.

How Your Tiles Will Arrive

Most tile orders are delivered on a wooden pallet using Pall-Ex, one of the UK's leading pallet delivery networks.

For safety and practical reasons, pallet deliveries are made kerbside. The driver will use a tail lift and pump truck to unload your pallet and will normally position it on a suitable, flat area at the kerb.

Drivers may be able to move the pallet onto your driveway or into a garage if access allows, but this is at the driver's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

Smaller orders that don't require pallet delivery will generally arrive as a parcel via DPD.

Delivery Times & Tracking

Pallet deliveries typically take place between 8am and 6pm on your selected delivery day.

For Pall-Ex deliveries, you'll receive an estimated delivery time by email once your order has left the local depot. We recommend making sure someone is available at the property once you receive this notification.

The ETA service is currently available for approximately 80% of pallet deliveries.

Please Check Your Delivery

When your order arrives, please ensure that a responsible adult is present to receive and inspect the delivery.

Before signing for your order, please check:

- The correct number of boxes or pallets has arrived.

- The packaging is intact.

- There are no obvious signs of damage.

- The tiles appear to have arrived safely.

If you notice any damage, please follow our damage reporting process below.

What To Do If Your Tiles Arrive Damaged

We take great care when preparing your order. Tiles are securely packed and protected before leaving our warehouse to minimise the risk of damage during transportation.

However, tiles are heavy and fragile products and unfortunately damage can occasionally occur while in transit.

If your order arrives damaged or you suspect that any of the tiles may have been affected, please:

1. Note the Damage

Write "DAMAGED" clearly on the delivery note before signing for the delivery.

2. Take Photographs

Take clear photographs of the damaged packaging and tiles. These will help us assess the issue and arrange the appropriate resolution.

3. Report It Within 24 Hours

Complete our Damages Form within 24 hours of receiving your order and include your photographs.

To qualify for free replacement tiles, your damage report and supporting photographs must be submitted within this 24-hour period.

We also recommend keeping any damaged tiles until we've confirmed that they are no longer required. In some cases, your installer may still be able to make use of them.

Unloading Your Pallet

For safety reasons, our delivery drivers are only able to unload your pallet to a suitable kerbside location.

The driver will use a tail lift and pump truck to safely remove the pallet from the vehicle and position it on a flat, accessible area.

Drivers cannot:

- Carry individual boxes into your property.

- Open or dismantle your pallet.

- Carry tiles upstairs or indoors.

- Move pallets across gravel or unsuitable surfaces.

- Navigate steep or difficult access areas.

If you're unsure whether your property has suitable access for a pallet delivery, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.

Moving Your Tiles Into Your Home

Once your delivery has been accepted, you'll need to move the tiles from the pallet into your property.

We recommend having someone available to help, as tile boxes can be heavy and may weigh up to 30kg.

To unpack your delivery, carefully cut through the protective shrink wrap using a suitable Stanley knife or similar tool, taking care not to damage the boxes or tiles inside.

Difficult or Restricted Access

Please let us know if your property has any access restrictions that could affect delivery.

This could include:

- Narrow roads or lanes

- Road closures

- Temporary roadworks

- Gravel or uneven surfaces

- Restricted vehicle access

- Steep access

- Other unusual delivery conditions

Please add any relevant information to the Delivery Notes section during checkout.

Depending on the circumstances, we may need to arrange a smaller delivery vehicle or an alternative delivery service. Additional charges may apply in some circumstances, but we'll always discuss these with you before proceeding.

Plan With Confidence

We want your The Tile Crafts delivery to be as straightforward as possible, from the moment you place your order to the moment your tiles arrive.

Choose your delivery option at checkout, make sure someone is available to receive your order and give your tiles a quick inspection when they arrive.

Then you can get on with creating your dream space.
