Adhesive
We recommend a white, rapid-setting flexible adhesive, though a standard-setting adhesive will also work well.
Sealing
No sealing is required when installing Mezzanote Nero matt finish porcelain tiles.
Grout
Use a fine-grain grout only, "Light Grey" grout is our recommended choice for these tiles.
Cleaning
Standard household cleaners can be used, but for best results we'd suggest a cleaner formulated specifically for porcelain tiles.
Tolerances & Fitting
As with all porcelain tiles and paving slabs, Mezzanote Nero tiles are subject to manufacturing tolerances around size, flatness and squareness, in line with the EN14411 standard. This means slight variation between individual tiles is normal and unavoidable — for instance, a slab may show up to ±2mm of curvature at its centre when measured with a straight edge. Note that checking flatness by placing two tiles face to face isn't accurate, as this can double the appearance of any curvature. If you'd like to talk this through in more detail, our team is happy to help over the phone.
Pallet Deliveries
Standard delivery typically takes 2–3 working days, with a next-day option available to most areas for an additional charge.
We deliver across the UK, with the exception of Northern Ireland.
Orders are delivered on pallets on a kerbside basis, meaning the pallet will be left at the nearest safe access point to your property, as drivers are unable to carry tiles into your home. You can choose your preferred delivery date, usually 2–3 working days after placing your order. Delivery is charged per pallet, starting from £45 and a delivery calculator will appear beneath your Order Total once you've entered the quantity required.
Please ensure someone is available at the property to accept the delivery, as failed deliveries may incur a re-delivery charge.
Free delivery is available on pallets of tiles over £600, though some postcodes are excluded and may incur an extra charge. See our delivery page for the full list of affected areas.
